My Everyday Make-up

Hello gorgeous! I thought I would do a little post about my everyday make-up routine. I don't normally wear make-up everyday but since I have to look presentable at work, (and my under-eye circles are far from being presentable) I have to dab on a few face-enhancing products. Here are the products I am currently using:

1. Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 001 Transparent
2. Rimmel Powder Blush in 001 Santa Rose
3. Essence Eyeshadow in 03 All time favourite
4. Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil in 002 Hazel
5. Benefit Benetint
6. Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Moisturizing Lip Balm
7. Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in 050 Berry Smoothie
8. Rimmel 1000 Kisses Transferproof Lip Tint and Balm in 120 Tameless Tango
9. Barry M Lash Modelling Black Mascara
10. Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer in  Ivory 320
11. Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer in 3 Medium
12. Garnier Anti Dark Circles 2 in 1 Tinted Eye Roll-on in Light/Medium

I don't use foundation everyday. I only use it on special occasions, I want my skin to breathe and feel natural even if I have my make-up on and using foundation, to me, seems like it is too made up. Plus I only have a few minutes to do my make-up in the morning, since I want those extra minutes to zzz, I'd rather skip the time consuming buffing of foundation. So, my first step is concealing, I switch my concealers depending on how bad my under-eyes look. Most of the time I put on my Garnier first then layer the Maybelline one for a more highlighted effect. I love my Collection concealer but I use it sparingly since it's not available in here, but it's amazing and covers up those nasty dark cicrles.

Next step is my blusher, I normally switch my Rimmel and Benetint depending on my mood. Both look very natural and stay on for a long amount of time though the Benetint lasts longer. Sometimes, I layer both of them on for a more vibrant effect. First, I dab on the Benetint, then brush on some Rimmel over it and it gives a lovely rosy finish.

I've noticed that groomed and filled-in eyebrows instantly gives off a more polished look. I always make sure to fill in my brows since I have splotches of sparse areas. After lightly drawing on them, I take a clean spooley brush and go through them to feather out and soften the pencil.

I used to hate powders, I never understood the point and it always left my face looking cakey. But I stumbled upon this product and it's just perfect! I swirl my Sigma powder brush and dab it on my T-zone and under-eye area and voila, it gives a natural smooth-looking effect. Since I don't use foundation, this powder helps in keeping my face from being a grease-ball throughout the day.

These are my lip products, again I switch them up depending on which one I like on that day. I always start off with a moisturised lip and I found that the best one to do the job is the Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Moisturizing Lip Balm. It tastes just like chocolate and it leaves my lips smooth and truly moisturised. I tend to have chapped lips but this really helps. I love products that stay on because I don't have time to retouch throughout the day and the Rimmel and Benetint does a good job on staining my lips. The Revlon Lip Butter gives a cute flush of colour while keeping my lips moisturized.

Finally, my last step is mascara. I've used a lot of mascaras in the past and I've always hated how they couldn't hold my lashes' curl and that by the end of the day I find that it has already transferred onto my under-eyes. This Barry M product, keeps my lashes curled and leaves a natural looking effect. I've never been a fan of spider lashes and since I'm going for a natural look, this one does a great job, plus it doesn't transfer all over my eye area throughout the day :)

That's it, my everyday make-up routine. It doesn't take me more than 10 minutes to complete these step so it really helps even if I'm already running late for work ;)

How about you? What are your make-up staples?
